The Washington Jewish Film Festival is a film festival that features films that represent the great diversity of Jewish experiences. It is held at the Aaron & Cecile Goldman Theater in the Washington, D.C., Jewish Community Center and other cinemas in Washington and suburban Maryland and Virginia. The festival was founded by Aviva Kempner in 1989. The 19th annual Washington Jewish Film Festival ran from December 4 to December 14, 2008. As of 2009, the executive director is Susan H. Barocas.
